How do you talk to your patients?

Health Care Providers: The Arc would like to know how you and your colleagues talk to patients/clients about alcohol use during pregnancy. Take a 15-minute, confidential online survey and help us in designing first-rate educational and prevention materials for you and other providers to use when talking about alcohol use with female patients or clients.

The Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Prevention Project seeks to increase provider knowledge of the risks alcohol poses to a fetus, the use of FASD prevention strategies, including the use of screening and assessment methods, and the use of consistent messaging with patients: drinking while pregnant can cause FASD.
