The Special Needs Alliance® (SNA) is a national non-profit whose member attorneys support individuals with I/DD in their quest for independent and fulfilling lives. Many of us have loved ones with disabilities, and we’re all committed volunteers and activists.
We care about more than documents and court appearances. With our strong community ties, we help clients find the services they need. With our honed negotiating skills, we’re in their corner when dealing with government bureaucracies. Our member attorneys are trusted family advisors, offering encouragement, counsel, unstinting support─ and a path forward that’s informed by personal experience and an average 20 years of legal practice.
Since 2014, SNA® has partnered with The Arc to provide educational resources, build public awareness and advocate on behalf of people with I/DD.
