We advocate in Congress for laws that benefit people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This includes all stages of legislative process from identifying the issues to be resolved, conducting substantive research, involving stakeholders, developing legislative language, providing testimony and technical advice to Congressional committees, and activating our grassroots networks to seek support from their Members of Congress. In addition, we work with the White House to help ensure enactment.
