The Arc’s National Policy Matters: ABLE Accounts for People with Disabilities is available to answer questions about the details of ABLE accounts. As states have launched ABLE programs, The Arc has maintained an updated ABLE state implementation chart. You can learn about other aspects of planning for the future by visiting The Arc’s Center for Future Planning®.  For additional information on ABLE accounts, please listen to our recorded webinars for chapter staff and other disability professionals and for people with I/DD and family members (click on recorded sessions).” Shortly after the passage of the ABLE Act on the federal level in 2014, The Arc released a short summary as well as more detailed information about ABLE accounts.
