The Arc San Francisco

The Arc of San FransicoThe Arc San Francisco is a non-profit advocacy and service organization for adults with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families living in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin counties. The Arc San Francisco currently serves over 550 clients from a diverse array of backgrounds, ages, and disabilities in their efforts to achieve greater self-determination and have a life of dignity and quality.  To achieve this, The Arc San Francisco provides a range of services relevant to all areas of adult life, including independent living skills, health and wellness services, employment services, and meaningful day programming including opportunities for volunteerism, creative expression, continued learning, and community involvement."

The Arc of New Jersey

The Arc of New JerseyThe Arc of New Jersey promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and is committed to enhancing quality of life of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families through advocacy, empowerment, education, and prevention.  To do this, The Arc of New Jersey advocates for public policy on behalf of this constituency; conducts education, research, and prevention activities; and develops and fosters programs, services, and supports, including the innovative Mainstreaming Medical Care Program, which specifically advocates for improved health care quality and access for consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  

ACHIEVA – The Arc of Greater Pittsburgh

AchievaThe Arc of Greater Pittsburgh, a member of ACHIEVA, is committed to providing and advocating for excellence in lifelong services for people with disabilities and their families in western Pennsylvania. The Arc strives to support families of children and adults with disabilities; to protect their rights; to educate people with disabilities, families and professionals about disability and healthcare issues, and to advocate and influence public policy on issues that impact people with disabilities.

The Arc of Massachusetts

The Arc of MassachusettsThe mission of The Arc of Massachusetts is to enhance the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families through advocacy of supports and services based in the community. The Arc of Massachusetts represents the interests of more than 180,000 children and adults with specific intellectual and developmental disabilities. We reach out to individuals with information and education, much of it through 19 chapters in local communities throughout the state, as well as through other public and private agencies.

The Arc of North Carolina

The Arc of North CarolinaThe Arc of North Carolina is committed to securing for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to choose and realize their goals of where and how they learn, live, work, and play. Throughout North Carolina, The Arc provides direct supports and services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) that enable people to lead full rich lives in the community.
